Building codes now have requirements for certain signage to include information in an embossed ( tactile ) form & also in Braille. The codes also provide specifications for how Braille & Tactile signs are to be made, as well as where they should be placed for ease of use.
These signs meet Australian Standards: AS2899.1 – 1986, AS 1428.4 – 1992 Signs available metals; plastics & other decorative finishes.
Engraved signage has many indoor & outdoor uses & can use a wide range of background materials such as: Acrylic; brass; stainless steel; plastic laminates; PVC to name a few. Traditional incised engraving & laser methods are utilised providing both a decorative & long term tamper proof finish. Signs; labels; ID plates; tool marking a specialty. Manufactured to commemorate an event, achievement, memorial, donation or sponsor in a variety of sizes & finish materials. Generally traditionally engraved or laser etched. Base materials of brass, aluminium, stainless steel, cast bronze, timbers & decorative plastics. Very fine detail including logos, symbols & crests available. Complimented with a decorative timber base, fixings or stand. Also available a portable drawer curtain official opening stand.
