Signs By Knight always strive to be ahead of the game in service and technology, and have done it again with there latest purchase being a UV Flatbed direct print machine made by quality Japanese company Mimaki in April this year.

Signs By Knight was one of the first sign companies in the area to purchase a vinyl plotter in way back in 1986, one of the first neon manufacturers outside of capital cities,  first laser engraver, and also solvent free environmentally safe Latex ink printer and was also a test site for a national sign company software program we still use today.

Company director Tim says “ we have always pushed the boundaries and strive to be better for ourselves and our customers”

The Mimaki flatbed can direct print to various surfaces with vibrant photo quality images for example images onto doors, glass, cardboard, wood, pin board material, corflute,  metals and ply.

Company co-director Tracey Knight says “with this machine we are excited to be able to expand our service range into areas we could not service in the past”

Tracey also stated “ Apart from being able to supply fast economical real estate type signs, with this machine we can also produce quality one off unique items that before were not able to be done.

Tim said “ We just printed a large acoustic pin board display for the UPA Murray Vale Hostel which is a map of the world, 6mt long that residents can pin holiday or heritage origins on the map. So the wall now serves dual purposes being a talking point and also sound proofing that looks amazing”
