Albury City and members of our community has been working very hard on The Wagirra Trail project. it is a long-term project to link Albury’s central riverside areas to Lake Hume along a 70 kilometre trail. The current priority is to provide a continuous 15km trail from Mungabareena Reserve to Wonga Wetlands, incorporating the central riverside parks at Noreuil. At present, construction of a 2.6km link from the Kremur St boat ramp to Wonga Wetlands in underway. The main pylon which is 4mt high x 1800mm wide is the start of the trail at Wonga Wetlands. Along the trail path are smaller plynths which denote and describe the artwork sculptures along the trail.
